Craigslist Finds!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my new dining table - yes it is a picnic table!
We eat on it for every meal and we are chatting longer as a fam.

Holy cow, is another purchase that I love! The pieces are gorgeous, in great condition. The style is hot (clean and simple) and it is absolutely comfortable!

Microfiber Off White Ottoman
Yes, it is white and we have two young kids at home but when I saw this piece I had to have it! Not only is it a great looking piece but functional and serves as a great footrest, extra setting, or play area for kids!

2 glass top tables (round and square), sturdy metal chairs, "aloha-inspired" flower design chair cushions, and Palapa Umbrella. This totally fist our personality and this is where my girls will play with molding clay, color, paint, eat, draw, etc., all summer long!

I love Craigslist because if you are patient you will find really neat pieces for a fantastic price. So, I can pick up three pieces (like new or gently used) for the price of one piece. Also, thanks to my mom I have her "bargaining skills" (she developed while working/shopping at the outdoor food markets in Cambodia) and I put them to work and pay for pieces that fit in my budget.

Hot off the Press! Adorable Honor Marie Warren daughter of Jessica Alba and Cash Warren loves our Jingle Bells Bracelet. The piece looks so precious on her. She is such a beautiful little girl! I just love Jessica Alba and I swear my best friend also named Jessica is her secret twin! I can imagine now the cute jingling noises the bracelet makes while Jessica is holding her and totting her around. So, cute!

Happy Birthday Chloe!!!

May 26th was my little Chloe's third birthday! I can't believe my baby is now three!?! She is such an angel to me. You can find her right by my side no matter what I am doing and I love it! This morning she crawled into bed with me and snuggled. It was so nice. She told her sister that she was with mommy and I just melted. Normally, when my girls wake up the first thing they do is run down stairs to play. So, to have her decide to lay in bed with me was sweet! We had a great day celebrating her birthday! But, before I dish out what we did to spoil her today lets go back to yesterday when we went to Legoland -- one of her favorite places. It was so fun to have Albert join us and it was so cute to watch them together enjoy a ride or two. Afterwards, we and the Forest and Fischers had a fam BBQ and then Jessica made the cutest clown cupcakes for Boston and Chloe (they share the same birthday!). They were all in heaven chowing down on the yumminess.

Today, Emi and I took Chloe to Fashion Island in Newport Beach to have lunch! Afterwards, I each gave them a penny to throw into the fountain in the food court. I overheard Chloe's wish and she wished that I would stay "beautiful!" Isn't that cute!?! I love that little girl! Fashion Island Mall is a beautiful outdoor mall and they have the coolest koi pond. Emi was so sweet and would hold her little sister hands around the rocks in the pond to find the biggest fish! Then we hit the fun carousel at and Chloe was so excited to ride her pony! The smile on her face was just adorable and when she said "Hee-haw!" it was a riot.

We finally made it home for a simple delicious dinner of Costco rotisserie chicken, rice, and salad (we were all famished) and then sang Happy Birthday to her with the most yummy choco cake! She had tons of presents to open - which she loved!!! And it was so sweet for Boston to drop by and give her a present and for Kalli to leave her a present at the door! Her Auntie Rebecca and Uncle Aric had a birthday package waiting and she was so thrilled to find all of the presents inside! Wow, talk about being spoiled!!! Thank you friends and family for her many gifts! Happy Birthday my little angel! You have brought so much joy into my life! You are truly an angel on earth and I love you! Pics to follow!!!
